Alpuente
Living in Alpuente. Fight against depopulation
Face-to-face

Visit to Alpuente to discuss the issue of depopulation with geographer and alumni, Yann Javier Medina

Departure by bus at 09:00 h. Upon arrival, there will be time for breakfast, followed by a poetic walk at 11:00 through the small villages of Almeza and Corcolilla, where, as well as enjoying the landscape of cereal and juniper, we will get to know the local people through the book "Camino a Corcolilla" (Road to Corcolilla). We will also learn first-hand about the demographic and socioeconomic reality of this territory from local guide and alumni Yann Javier Medina. Finally, we will visit the traditional Moorish oven of Corcolilla.

Lunch and free time will be from 14:00 to 16:00, followed by the Monumental Route and a visit to the Ethnological Museum (the entrance fee to the museum is 2€ and each participant will pay it on the spot). At the end, around 17:30 we will come back to Valencia.

Registration open until 19 April.
