The Universitat de València, through the Vice-principal of Culture and Society, organises the IV Edition on Canal de Navarrés Seasonal University in Anna with the name: “Food and Nutrition Security: impact on sustainability”. 

The proposed subject starts with the sustainability of food system, a challenge included in the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations. A sustainable food system ensures food and nutrition security for people, without risking the economic, social and environmental basis of this moment, but preserving them for future generations. With this perspective, sessions for this Seasonal University in Anna have been organised. They have been distributed in two days in a one of a kind location that has witnessed the starts of the relation food-society: in the Condes de Cervellón Palace.

              Speakers:

              Dr. Josefa Tolosa (Universitat de València) - Strategies for assessing toxicity in foods.

              Dr. Cristina Juan (Universitat de València) - Nutritional and Growing risks in food.

              Dr. Houda Berrada (Universitat de València) – Toxic substances of natural origin.
