FORTHEM Green Travel Road Show arrives in Valencia. On April 4, Stefan Baumeister from the University of Jyväskylä will present this project, in which he will travel through the 9 universities of the FORTHEM alliance without using airplanes, raising awareness of the carbon footprint through conferences and meetings with students and university staff.

During the event on April 4 in the Aula Magna of La Nau, he will be joined by Sergio Belda, Head of Fair Trade and Local Initiatives, who will discuss the new Sustainable Events Guide of the University of Valencia. This guide provides insights into organizing more sustainable events, considering aspects such as transportation, accommodation, welcome packs, catering, or venues.

Professor Baumeister will depart from the University of Jyväskylä and will consecutively visit the universities of the Alliance:

- University of Opole, Poland
- University of Sibiu, Romania
- University of Mainz, Germany
- University of Palermo, Italy
- University of Valencia, Spain
- University of Burgundy, France
- University of Agder, Norway
