ZENOTOF 7600 is a high resolution MSMS spectrometrer that incorporates two essential novelties: on one hand, the trap (ZENO) that allows to increase the efficacy of transmission and cluster of ions, improving 5-20 times the obtained sensitivity on the traditional QTOF. The other great novelty of ZENOTOF is the incorporation of the EAD (Electron Activated Dissociation) fragmentation technology, a specific fragmentation system that allows to improve the capacity of elucidation of compounds. 

Description

1) ULTRA HIGH PRESSURE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY (UHPLC) SYSTEM

Minimum technical specifications of the system:

  • Pump system:
  • Two double high-precision piston pumps, with the ability to reach a working pressure of 1.300 bars.
  • Flow from 0.0001 to 3 mL/min.
  • Flow precision: ± 0.06% RSD.
  • Flow accuracy: ± 1%
  • Automatic cleaning of pistons.
  • Leak detector for a pump.
  • Minimum membrane degasser up to five canals. 
  • pH operating range of 1-14.
  • The accuracy in the composition of the solvent mixture, expressed as a concentration, is of ± 0.5%, what enables reproducible results.
  • Gradient formation range from 0 to 100 % (in steps of 0,1 %)
  • Mixer of high capacity for the gradient formation
  • Column ovens:
    • Controlled thermostated column ovens, from – 10º C below the room temperature to 100º C.

2) SPECTROMETER SYSTEM OF HIGH RESOLUTION MASS AND EXACT MASS, QTOF

Minimum technical specifications of the system:

  • Sensitivity in TOF/MS: in ESI positive mode for an injection of 1 pg of reserpine in column, produces a S/N > 2500 relation
  • Sensitivity in MS/MS: in ESI positive mode for an injection of 50 fg of reserpine in column, produces a S/N > 400 relation
  • Sensitivity in TOF/MS: With the Twin Sprayer sounding line, an injection of 1 pg of reserpine in column, produces a S/N > 750 relation
  • Scanning speed in MS/MS: From133 Hz (133 spectrums MS/MS per second)
  • MS/MS duty cycle: ≥ 90% for acquisition in TOF MS/MS
  • MS resolution: more than 42,000 (FWHM) m/z 956.
  • Scanning modes: Fullscan TOF MS, Full scan TOF MS/MS, MRMHR, SWATH (DIA), IDA (DDA)
  • Internal mass accuracy: less than 0.2 ppm of absolute error, proved in MS/MS in a piece of [Glu]1-Fibrinopeptide B
