The double degree in Law and Criminology provides training, knowledge and methodology in both fields. It prepares professionals with basic legal training capable of defending the rights of citizens in society. It also prepares professionals who respond to the social needs for safety and prevention and control of delinquency based on an established legal framework and trust in social policies aimed at preventing crime and minimising its effects.
Students in this double degree programme study the degree in Law with the Criminal Law track and the degree in Criminology with a Private Detective specialty. This programme enables students to obtain undergraduate degrees in Law and Criminology in five years. If a student decides to drop out of the double degree programme and would like to continue with one of the two degrees, he/she may choose which one to continue.
