The aim of the session is to promote the creation of international double degrees at the Universitat de València within the institution internationalisation actions. An international double degree is a specific studies programme between two universities of different countries that allows the student to obtain two official titles when completing the programme.
Double degrees give the student competitive advantages for the labour market and allow a larger mobility between countries.
Nowadays, the Universitat de València offers four international double degrees: Degree in Business Management and Administration (Universitat de València+ Université de Nantes), Degree in Law (Universitat de València + Université Toulouse 1 Capitole), Degree in Economics (Universitat de València + Université de Nantes), and Degree in International Business (Universitat de València + University of Heilbronn; Universitat de València + Euromed Management de Marseille; Universitat de València + Nottingham Trent University; Universitat de València + University of Hertfordshire; Universitat de València + Hochschule Bremen; Universitat de València + University of North Carolina at Wilmington; Universitat de València + Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration -RPANEPA).
During this academic year 2015/2016, 120 students of the University of València stay in one of the mentioned universities.
The session had the intervention of the vice-deans of International Relations of the faculties of Law and Economics, Ángeles Solanes and Empar Pons.
