The Spanish Society of Classical Studies (SEEC) (Delegation of Valencia and Castelló) held at the Faculty of Language Studies, Translation and Communication (Graduate Hall Enric Valor) a conference at its 25th edition, titled 'Light and Shadow: The Education in Ancient Times and Classical Training in the Present Day '. The event consists of five presentations by renowned experts, sixteen communications and a round table to address education today.
This conference does not only cover further study of the issues relating to education in Greece and Rome but also it shows that classical education is necessary today and what its benefits are.
