The Ambassador of Israel in Spain, Alon Bar, has visited this Monday the Science Park of the University of Valencia, accompanied by his commercial attaché, Yifat Alon Perel, and the President of Spain-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Gil Gidrón. The visit,which lasted two hours, settles the relationship that the University of Valencia maintains with universities of this country of the Middle East, especially with the Bar-llan University of Israel (BUI).
The general director of Internationalization of the Generalitat Valenciana, Mar Casanova, the Principal of the University of Valencia, Esteban Morcillo, the Vice-Principal for International Relations, Olga Gil, and the Director of the Science Park, Juan Antonio Raga, have received this morning in the Science Park, the Ambassador of Israel to Spain, Alon Bar, who have arrived accompanied by his Commercial Attaché, Yifat Alon Perel, and the President of the Spain-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Gil Gidrón. The visit settles the relationship that the University of Valencia maintains with universities of this country of the Middle East, especially with the Bar-Llan University of Israel (BUI), result of the collaboration from which have emerged various patents.
The delegation have met with the heads of companies and research institutes of the park and have expressed their interest in establishing ties principally in the fields of Biotechnology, Energy and Water. Finally, they made a tour around the facilities of the park and they have visited the company Biópolis and the foundation IVI.
