Audiovisual contents in the new media scenario focus the TVMorfosis/CONTD days

The VIII edition of the CONTD days - Contents for the TV Digital, which this time will be gathered with the X edition of TVMorfosis, one of the meetings about audiovisual reference in Ibero-America. This will take place at Universitat de València on 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June. The sessions, which will be changed into a television format, will be able to be followed live through this link http://147.156.205.24/tvmorfosiscontd

TVMorfosis/CONTD is a initiative which intends to open a forum discussion in Europe and Ibero-America to obtain conclusions from the current state of the digital media flow and to provide balancing references and regularization in the different fields of Audiovisual Communication.

AudiovisualTVMorfosis/CONTD has a different format compared to the classic days or congresses, as it is an audiovisual format which works together with debates and interviews. The aim of these debates/interviews is to offer the participants and the viewers a wide spectrum of opinions and experiences, as well as to consider several issues which favour the reflection on the new flow of audiovisual contents in the framework of digital multicast. Opinions and reflections from experts and analysts, professionals of audiovisual production, ideas men, TV transmitters, researchers and students of communication both European and Ibero-American who offer as broad a picture as possible of the situation in which the audiovisual sector can be found nowadays of both lands.

The event will be presented and made by Channel 44 of University of Guadalajara (Mexico), and the Audiovisuals workshop (TAU) of Universitat de València broadcast live it through Espacio de Radiotelevisión Iberoamericano (Ibero-American Radio-Television Space) and through Spanish, European and Ibero-American University Television networks, thanks to the collaboration of the Ibero-American Association of Educational and Cultural Televisions (ATEI), the Professional University Audiovisual Students Association (APAU) and Spanish and European Association for Scientific Cinema and Image (ASECIC).

TVMorfosis/CONTD will open on Tuesday, day 2nd June at 16:15h, in La Nau building, and it will have the presence of the principal of Universitat de València, Esteban Morcillo; the Vice-Principal of post grade studies of Universitat de València, Rosa sea; the Director of Channel 44 of University of Guadalajara (Mexico), Gabriel Torres; the Director of the Audiovisual workshops of Universitat de València, Miquel French; and the president of ATEI, Jorge da Cunha Lima. The closing down, which will be on 4th June at 21.15h in that same place, will be headed by the Vice-Principal of Culture and Equality of Universitat de València, Antonio Ariño.

During these days, several experts and professionals who have a very strengthened trajectory and who have become the voices of reference on the matter in both places of the Atlantic, such as Giuseppe Richeri, from Università della Svizzera Italiana; Enrique Bustamante, from Complutense University of Madrid; Emili Prado, from University of Barcelona; Germán Franco, from Xaverian University of Bogota; Elisenda Malaret, from University of Barcelona; Agustín García Matilla, from University of Valladolid; Fernando J. García, president of the Brazilian Association of university TV; Gustavo Lomelín, general director of Educational Television of Mexico; Alberto García Ferrer, Teib-ATEI general secretary; Julio Cabero, from University of  Seville; or Alejandro Piscitelli, from University of Buenos Aires.

Many others like the following ones will also take part during these days: Alfredo Sabbagh, from Northern University of Barranquilla; Carmina Crusafón, from University of Barcelona; José María Vidal, from Universitat de València; Gerardo Ojeda, from the ASECIC362 Audiovisual Platform; John Ospina, assistant manager of the International Sign Channel 31.2 of Los Ángeles; Alexandra Falla, from Xaverian University of Bogota; Guillermo Orozco, from University of Guadalajara; Eduardo Prádanos, of Havas Media; Francesc Escribano, of Absolute Minority; Matilde Delgado, from University of Barcelona; Carlos Lineros, from National Distance University of Colombia; Javier Marzal, from Universitat Jaume I de Castellón; Julià Álvaro, a journalist; Kiko Martínez, of Nobody is perfect; Ángel García Castillejo, of Mel Abogados; and Pau Martínez, president of EDAV. Every debate and interview is chaired and moderated by Marga Landete, of Universitat de València.

Furthermore, as it is the custom in the CONTD days, the Master’s degree in Audiovisual Contents for Digital Television students at Universitat de València will show their projects at a “pitching” session before a selection of in-charge people of the main televisions and producing companies with the aim that most of these projects may have a professional career. On this occasion, the professionals who will value the students’ projects are Samuel Sea, from TVE; Joan González, from Docs Barcelona; Armando Castle, president of the Sistema Público de Radiodifusión de México (Broadcast Public System of Mexico). SPR; Albert Sagalés, from Diagonal TV; Ximo Pérez, from Productores Audiovisuales Valencianos (Valencian Audiovisual Producers) (PAV); y Germán Pérez, from Canal Zoom of Colombia.
