Conference by the professor Nahla Nadaoui closes the master’s degree in Interculturalism

A conference by the professor Nahla Nadaoui, of the University of Baghdad (Irak), closes today Wednesday, 4 May, the edition of this course of the master’s degree in Interculturalism, Communication and European Studies. Nadaoui will give the conference ‘La situación de las mujeres iraquíes en los territorios controlados por ISIS’ (The situation of Iraqi women in places controlled by ISIS). The session will start at 17:00 in the Enric Valor Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Language Studies, Translation and Communication.

Nahla Nadaoui is doctor in Arabic literature and language and professor of the University of Bagdad (Irak), in the Department of Arabic.  She has been professor of the University of Taiz (Yemen) in 2000-2004, head of radio programming The People (Al-Nas) from 2007 to 2008 and correspondent to Radio Sawa, Bagdad headquarters, from 2004 to 2006. She is author of multiple works about narratives and women autobiographies in Irak and about the language of the Iraqi Constitution, she has also elaborated informs about the rights of women in  harassment situation in Irak. Among her publications highlight:  "Metáforas femeninas en los libros de retórica antigua" (2015) and "Supervisión y evaluación de la actuación del Parlamento acerca de las mujeres iraquíes” (2010).
