The ex-minister Ángel Gabilondo and other education specialists, tomorrow at La Nau

The Permanent Formació Service of Education and Innovation at the University of Valencia organizes tomorrow, Friday April 26 at the Centre Cultural La Nau, a day LOMCE monograph on the new education law proposed by the minister Wert. The meeting will consist of two panel discussions and a lecture by Professor of Metaphysics and former Minister of Education Angel Gabilondo. The Rector presented the act Esteban Morcillo at 11:15 hours.

The conference, which will begin at 9 am under the epigraph 'néolibéralisme i Educació', is inserted into the framework of the annual meetings organized in collaboration with the Association of Directors of Institutes (ADIES).

The first round table (9:15 am) will focus on the likely effect of the Act in the daily reality of public institutes, and will count with the participation of the Institute Directors Association, the Federation of Associations of Parents of Students (FAPA) and student unions. The second, scheduled for 12:30 pm, will analyze the ideological, educational and economic factors to LOMCE, and with the participation of specialists from the three areas: Francesc Imbernón, Professor of Education; Jorge Calero, Professor of Economics and Expert in Economics of Education, and Francisco Delgado, president of secular Europe.

Exchange Encounters University-Secondary Educational Experiences give visibility to educational innovation projects carried out in public institutions of Valencia, much of which is conducted in collaboration with the University faculty. This year, given the importance of the proposed legislative change, we preferred to hold a monographic day of debate and reflection. So far 130 people have signed up through the website of the Permanent Formació Service of Education and Innovation at the University.

The Vice Chancellor for Culture and Equality, Antonio Arino, and the Vice President for Research and Language Policy, Isabel Vazquez, will close this day at 14:30 hours.
