José Pla Barber, full professor at the Department of Business Management, Faculty of Economics, University of Valencia, has been elected Vice-President of European International Business Academy (EIBA), a European research association in international business that unites over six hundred professionals and academicians all over the world. In 2009, the University of Valencia organized its annual conference.
José Pla Barber has a PhD in Business Administration since 1998. With his research he obtained the European certificate PhD and his doctoral thesis received the prize for the Best Doctoral Thesis on Economics by the University of Valencia. Before, he graduated with a Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Valencia.
Since 1993 he is a professor in International Business at the Faculty of Economics, and tenured university lecturer since 2009. He has published several research works and articles with specialists in enterprise and economics. The latest, Fine slicing of the value chain and offshoring essential activities: empirical evidence from European Multinationals.
EIBA, apart from bringing more than five hundred economist experts together from all over the world, provides several publications, among others, the International Business Review.
