The General Foundation of the University of Valencia and José Maria Haro-Intra Foundation have signed a collaboration agreement by which both institutions will work together in the field of training for employability convention, promotion and dissemination of quality employment .
The collaboration will take place in training and research, as well as employment-related and corporate social responsibility activities. With this agreement, the General Foundation of the University of Valencia, through The Observatory for labour Market Insertion and Labour Market Advise (OPAL) which manages, and Haro-Intra Foundation will organize training activities to facilitate vocational integration and job creation: promotion of courses, seminars and conferences, preparation and implementation of training programs for staff and employees of both foundations, and development of research and publications.
This agreement is the result of the will of the General Foundation of the University of Valencia, through OPAL, for partnerships with companies and institutions that share its goals and values in order to create a relational network that facilitates the exchange of experiences oriented professional development and improving competitiveness.
The OPAL acts as a bridge between training and employment, and its main objective is to enhance the employability of students and graduates of the University of Valencia. It operates through various areas: orientation, employment / labour exchange, training, and labour market practices, career opportunities, and research and analysis.
Likewise, the Haro-Intra Foundation is a private non-profit organization that has as main purpose to facilitate the training and social integration of people with greater difficulties in accessing the labour market, through the design of social integration pathways adapted to the specific situation of each person, the creation and management of stable structures of job skills, promoting job placement companies and boosting recycling-related activities and the environment.
