The number 44 of the magazine L' Espill, founded by Joan Fuster and published since 1999, by the University of Valencia, devotes his winter number dossier to the literary and political space in Europe. The editorial is dedicated to the situation of emergency in the country.
The central dossier entitled 'Literary field and political space in Europe', analyses the relationship between national literatures and political/state framework, with texts and contributions of Pierre Bourdieu, Manfred Gsteiger, Jacques Le Rider, Carolina Moreno, Arturo Casas and Antoni Martí Monterde. The authors will discuss complex cases, where many crossing aspects are often contradictory, from Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and the Scandinavian countries, not to mention the Iberian space or Catalan literature.
Moreover, in this new edition of 'L' Espill ' there are a number of articles on various subjects, such as Michael Krätke on 'Marx, our contemporary', Manuel Forcano on the genocide of the Armenians, Xavier Serra on 'Francesc Colinas , humorist', Roberto Rodriguez Milán on Joan Fuster’s national essays, or Juli Capilla on the significance of the “Estellés Year”.
