The magazine 'Pasajes', published by the University of Valencia, has just published its 42nd with a dossier entitled 'Corruption and democracy'. The magazine, which directs Pedro Ruiz Torres, includes articles from teachers of Criminal Law at the University of Valencia and Juan Carlos Carbonell and Angeles Jareño, just like political scientist Jordi Muñoz.
The three authors analyse the phenomenon of corruption in all its extent and forms, the ways in which operates on the local terrain and procurement, and social attitudes and electoral corruption. In addition, Francesc Bayarri interviews Angel Luna, a political asset that explains in his experience in exposing corruption and regrets the scant media attention it received in the past.
'Pasajes' 42 further includes historian Roger Chartier articles on the meaning of representation, and philosophers David Montesinos on globalization, consumption and resistance, Darlei Dall'Agnol on pluralism and relativism (in controversy with Vicente Sanfélix), and Ana Carrasco on Michel de Certeau and the writing of history. A section of reviews by Francisco Fuster, Mariano Rodríguez, Guillermo Quintás and Ricardo Tejada complete the summary.
