The enigma of the dark matter of the Universe will be discussed in the tenth congress MultiDark Consolider Workshop, in which more than 50 experts will meet at the Institute of Corpuscular Physics (IFIC) of the University of Valencia. MuldiDark is a Spanish project of excellence which gathers most part of the specialists of the scientific community in this field, financed by the Consolider-Ingenuity 2010 programme of the Ministry of Education and Competitiveness.

This congress will take place in several sessions devoted to discuss the developments of the research project Multi Dark, which aims to study the dark matter, one of the great scientific mysteries which still remains unresolved and knowing what this matter is would allow to take a giant step in the understanding of the Universe.

At the conferences, which will be celebrated from 2 to 4 April, it will be analysed the state of the international collaborations, as well as the project advances in the detection of the dark matter in direct and indirect detection experiments, and it will be discussed the current and future perspectives in the field.

In the framework of this congress, and inside the cycle of organised lectures by the IFIC due to the celebration of the 37th 37ª International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP), on 3 April there will be in the Darwin Room of the Interfaculty Auditorium of the Burjassot-Paterna Campus “Hunters of Dark matter”, taught by researcher David García Cerdeño.
