The Faculty of Geography and History of the Universitat de València holds on 2 and 3 May a workshop about the fake as a strategy of artist creation and political activism. conducted by Joan Fontcuberta, Nation Award of Photography in 1998. The workshop has been organised by the IVAM and the Universitat de València and the Universitat Politècnica de València.
This workshop has been selected by the same artist, four students of the Master’s degree in History of Art and Visual Culture of the Universitat de València, four students of the Master’s degree in Artist Production and Visual ad Multimedia Arts of the Universitat Politècnica de València, and three professionals.
The photographer and theorist, who got the National Essay Award and the Hasselblad Award, has developed a special photograph style where are linked the truth and the fiction.
