Next Thursday, 2 February, the presentation of the works “Grammar of the Catalan Language” and the “Catalan Orthography” will take place at 12:00h at the Sala de Grados Enric Valor of the Faculty of Language Studies, Translation and Communication of the Universitat de València. The presentation will be given by member of the language section of the Institute of Catalan Studies (IEC), Maria Teresa Cabré (Chairman), Gemma Rigau, Manuel Pérez Saldanya and Vicent Pitarch. The aim is to make easier the implantation of a new orthographic and grammatical regulation and the process of the standardization of the Catalan language.
The ceremony is organised by the Inter-university Institute for Valencian Language (IIFV), Department of Catalan Language and Language Policy Service of the Universitat de València.
