The General Assembly of Students (AGE), the highest representative body of the student body of the UV, renewed its posts on Tuesday. For the first time since it was constituted, the coordinator will be a student, Paula Sala Ivars.
The student body of the 4th academic year of Leisure Marketing will celebrate on Saturday, 17, the Less Stress, a charitable and sports event which will be held from 10:00 to 13:30 in the Sala Blava of the Sports Hall of the UV, in the Blasco Ibáñez Campus (Menéndez Pelayo 19 Avenue). The event has a charitable nature and the fundraising will be allocated to the Asociación de Enfermedades Neuromusculares de la Comunitat Valenciana (Neuromuscular Disease Association of the Valencian Community) (ASEM-CV).
The exhibition ‘Yturralde. Cartografies del sublim’ (‘Yturralde. Cartographies of the sublime’), which is shown in the Martínez Guerricabeitia Hall of La Nau until next 29 January, is the first one completely accessible to people with visual disabilities or visually challenged thanks to the mobile application Cultura Accesible (Accessible Culture).
‘1936-2025. La Guerra Civil Europea ha empezado’ (‘1936-2025. The European Civil War has started’) is the last show of the Escena Erasmus theatre group of the UV. The show, directed by Antoni Tordera, can be seen until next 16 December in the Cultural Centre La Nau. The new performance represents a parallelism between women members of the brigade and the situation of the youth nowadays.
The Balarma Prize is a special award on its category: research on childhood education, which covers from zero to six years old. It has its name due to a group of innovative teachers of the Vall d’Albaida in the 80s, aimed at promoting research and pedagogical innovation. The second edition of this prize has just been carried out. The first edition, celebrated two years ago, has already been presented and it is expected to be published soon.
