The facilities of the University of Valencia, Centre of Gandia, will host Wednesday 23 January, at 19:00, a Trobada de Poetes (a meeting of poets), organized by the professor of literature of the University of Valencia, Jesús Perís. The poets, linked to the university in one way or another, will read their texts. Among them, some known as Manel Marí or Bibiana Collado, with awarded collection of poems such as ‘Patrimoni dels dies’ or ‘Esquerda’, respectively.
Others, such as Fran Garcerá or Merche Ribás, are young poets which emerge after the joint publication of the volume La calle de las impertinencias. Also it will take part poets who are now beginning to take their steps in this world, Fernando Daniel Bruno or Raúl Molina. With them the professor of literature of the Universitat dels Majors (University for adults), Jesús Peris Llorca, who will give way to some of his students of Gandia, as Vicente Vallés.
This activity is open to the general public, will be held either in Valencian or Castilian, depending on the language used by the poets in their works.
