On Thursday, 25 April, the Botanic Garden of the University of Valencia welcomed the presentation of the book 'Herbari. Viure amb les plantes', with the presence of authors Daniel Climent and Ferran Zurriaga. It is the last addition to the collection of informative books 'Monografies Mètode', which magazine 'Mètode' publishes.

During the presentation, ethnobotanical expert Daniel Climent gave the conference 'Arbres simbòlics i venerats, dels patrons globals a les particularitats valencianes'. The event is part of the conference cicle 'L'herència dels arbres del Jardín Botánico de la University de València' and it will be presented by Martí Domínguez, director of Mètode magazine and the 'Monografies Mètode' collection.

'Herbari' presents a collection of ethnobotanical texts where science, literature and art show us a new war of approaching botanics. Daniel Climent and Ferran Zurriaga offer in this book a journey through some of the characteristical plants of our landscape. Through its pages, the authors discover the history, culture and traditions that are hidden behind vegetal speices like the carob tree, olive tree, fig tree and the fan plam.
