Ràdio Universitat, from the University of Valencia, as well as InfoRadio, from the UCM, conclude on Friday the magazine “Diálogos desde El Escorial” (Dialogues from El Escorial), within the Encounter for University Radios celebrated during this week within the frame of the summer courses in El Escorial. With three daily emissions, eleven radios belonging to the association ARU have carried out a programme from its site Infantes, invited by the UCM. Eleven university radio stations belonging to the University Radios Association (ARU), among which Radio Universitat is, participated for the first time in the Encounter of University Radios, which took place between 7 and 11 July 2014, within the Summer Courses of the UCM and of San Lorenzo del Escorial.
During the Encounter, coordinated by the teacher from the UCM and ARU president Miguel Ángel Ortiz, the radio stations from different universities that participate have broadcasted the magazine “Diálogos desde El Escorial” (Dialogues from El Escorial), in which the protagonists and invited people from the Summer Courses from the UCM have been. The programme was completed with a workshop-emission of sounding fiction on 9 and 10 July, trained by Federico Volpini, scriptwriter, writer and TV host.
ARU is a non-profit association which compiles 22 radios that emit from the several Spanish universities, public or private, and which works in the creation of a system to share experiences, training and specific contents related to creation and scientific dissemination.
