The Reading and Writing Club of the University of Valencia, led by full university professor Josep Ballester of the University of Valencia and professor of the University Noelia Ibarra, along with the Literary Club of the University of Alacant, the Universitat Jaume I, and with the collaboration of the Association of Catalan Language Writers (AELC) have scheduled the activity ‘Veus literàries’.
‘Veus literàries’ pretends to promote the contemporary Catalan literature through Valencian writers in this first edition. With this aim we have designed a series of six lectures at the three public Valencian universities in which it is promoted the approach to the work and career of six recognised voices in the University community and of free access to the public.
The season opens in the Faculty of Teacher Training of the University of Valencia with the conference of Mercé Viana this Wednesday, 26 February, at 12:00 called ‘Llegir... Quina responsabilitat tenim els mestres?’, and also ends in the Faculty of Teacher Training of the University of Valencia with the participation of Silvestre Vilaplana Wednesday 9 April at 12:00.
