The Federation of Associations of Business Integration (FAEDEI) has awarded with the prize ‘Empresa Responsable con la Inserción’ (ERI) to the Research Group ‘ Transiciones al mundo laboral en poblaciones de riesgo’ of the University of Valencia. The collective consists of professors of different areas of knowledge and departments and directed by Fernando Marhuenda, Full University Professor of Teaching and Scholastic Organization.
The foundation award ERI distinguishes those companies and public entities which have driven the creation and implementation of the signature Empresa responsable con la inserción (Business committed to inclusion). This award rewards entities, business, and people which collaborate with business of integration and those who have participated in groups of work which have been made for the creation, implementation and dissemination for the certification scheme. These first awards ERI have distinguished, among others, entities such as Foundation La Caixa, the Government of Cantabria, the University of Huelva or the City Council of Sigüenza.
The Research Group Transiciones al mundo laboral en poblaciones de riesgo (code OTRIUV-0456) is composed by Professors of the following departments of the University of Valencia: Teaching and Scholastic Organization, Developmental and Educational Psychology, and Sociology and Social Anthropology. It is a multidisciplinary team which has participated since 1996 in different works, contracts and projects, in which various members of the group took part.
The team maintains collaboration, has signed contracts or agreements with other organizations as FOREM-PV, CCOO or the Federation of Associations of Business Integration, the Foundation Novaterra or the Administrator Unit of the European Social Fund. The team has also participated in the organization of meetings and regional and state conferences with professionals of the social and labor integration.
The awarding of the prize ERI was ratified by the Board of Directors of FAEDEI in the meeting of 10 January 2013. The deliverance of the award will take place in one of the institutional acts, FORO ERI, which will be held next Thursday 31 January 2013 in the 2nd Fair of Integration Business INSERCIONA, in the fairgrounds FICOBA in Irun.
During the celebration of the FORO ERI, also it will be given the first 18 certificates ERI. The signature ERI is a private certification scheme granted by FAEDEI and guaranteed by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality and the Foundation La Caixa.
