The Science Park of the University of Valencia (PCUV) has opened access to process applications for participative loans of the 'Line IVF Entrepreneurs' 2013, from the Valencian Insitute of Finance (IVF). Starting today, microenterprises and Valencian start-ups may consult the terms of the call and make a pre-application through the website of the Science Park.

With its Entrepreneurial Line, the Valencian Institute of Finance aims to stimulate the creation, development and dissemination of innovative projects through the equity loans system. The line has a budget of four million euros which microenterprises and start-ups from Valencia, framed in any sector except financial and real estate, will benefit from. These equity loans will not require additional guarantees besides the project's own. The amount awarded will be between 20,000 and 120,000 euros and the repayment period will take up to seven years, with a grace period for the initial repayment for up to three years.

IVF Entrepreneurs is an initiative launched in 2011 by the Ministry of Economy, Industry, Tourism and Employment. In this year, the Valencian university science parks are established as associates of this funding, following an agreement signed recently by the Valencian Science Parks Network (REPCV) and the Valencian Institute of Finance. Companies applying may receive advice in the development of their projects by a specialised committee of each park, which will evaluate them before sending them to IVF.

The call will remain in effect until December 31, 2013 or until funds are exhausted, provided that such event occurs prior to that date.
