The sixth edition of Bernhard Wilpert Winter School starts Monday in Gandia

Starting next Monday, 18 March, 50 students from 21 countries will participate in the face-to-face teaching stage of Bernhard Wilpert Winter School organized by the European Master on Work, Organizational and Personal Psychology WOP-P, to be held at the University of Valencia, Gandia Centre (IGC) until 1 March. The aim of this Winter School is to develop professional skills for designing interventions in an international context.

Specifically, these students come from Germany, Canada, USA, Russia, Brazil, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Italy, Romania, Portugal, Serbia, Panama, Slovakia, Netherlands, Latvia, France, Croatia, Colombia, Ukraine, Luxembourg and Spain. Also participating are students from San Jose State University (USA) and the Florida Institute of Technology.

The objective of this Winter School is to develop professional competence (knowledge, skills and attitudes) for designing interventions in the field of organizational development and human resources in an international context and with an approach that combines the global and local perspective . Training in this Joint Intensive Learning Unit from the European Master on Work, Organizational and Personal Psychology WOP-P has three phases: the first one involves working in virtual teams composed of members from various universities and countries; the second phase involves intensive residential courses, and takes place at the International Centre of Gandia, and the third phase comprises the final work of integration, performed remotely with the support of the virtual classroom at the University of Valencia.

This master's degree is offered by a consortium of five European universities (Barcelona, ​​Bologna, Coimbra, Paris and Valencia) and with the collaboration of two non-European partner universities (University of Brasilia in Brazil and the University of Guelph in Canada). Coordination is carried out by teachers from the Institut d'Investigació IDOCAL (www.uv.es/idocal) and the University of Valencia José M. Peiro, Isabel Rodriguez, Vicente Martínez-Tur and Esther Gracia, as well as Vincent Rogard from the Paris-Descartes University and Salvatore Zappala from the University of Bologna.

Moreover, the teaching team consists of leading researchers, academics and practitioners, such as Robert Roe (Uno. Maastricht, NL and president of the European Federation of Psychology Associations), Rob Briner (University of Bath, UK), David Guest (Kings College London, UK), Neil Anderson (Brunel University, UK), Dirk Steiner (University of Nice), Eric Andriessen (Delft University) and Fred Zijsltra (Maastricht University).
