The Student Council asks for a ‘gender perspective’ transversally in all the degrees

The Student Council (AGE), the highest body in the representation of the students of the Universitat de València, will create a commission of work to promote the inclusion in the degrees of the ‘gender perspective in a transversal way’, which will be add to the Unit of Equality Unit, according the last plenary, held this Tuesday, 3 May.

The AGE met with a new Coordination Table formed by Miquel Melis, as coordinator; Javier Sansalvador, secretary; Alejandro Llinares, vice-coordinator; Paula Sala, treasurer; and the chairs  Lola Ruiz, Beatriz Atienza and María García. The last two were chosen this Tuesday to fill vacancies.

The plenary approved the launch of a Communication Commission with the objective of ‘giving diffusion to the Age actions’.

All these decisions, unanimously approved, will be exposed in the next governing council of the Universitat de València.

In this plenary was presented the most past of the associations of students registered in the Universitat de València, like the Bloc d’Estudiants Agermanats (BEA), Acontracorrent (ACC), SAÓ, la Unió d’Estudiants Valencians, la Associació Valenciana d’Estudiants de Dret, and people who represented the Students Council in each centre.
