Students of the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession of the UV could undertaque workplacements in J&A Garrigues

The students of the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession of the UV could undertake work placements in J&A Garrigues S.L.P. So has been established after signing the cooperation agreement between the UV and J&A Garrigues S.L.P.

The goal of the agreement is to regulate the relationship of both entities in the scope of Work placements of the Master’s in Access to the Legal Profession, with the creation of a programme with a maximum teaching load of 30 credits ECTS. The work placements will be developed with a general nature, on a full-time basis throughout the foreseen months in the Master’s Degree programme.

The students, selected by the UV, will be mentored by a professor of the UV and by a professional who services in the office where the work placement is undertaken, and once the students finish their work placement they will receive a report from the office where both the the performance of the work is reflected and a financial contribution, among others. By its part, trainees are committed to take full advantage of the training opportunities and to elaborate an external work placement’s report, among other obligations.

The signature of the agreement was attended by Esteban Morcillo, UV principal; Mª José Añón, UV General Secretary; Rosa Marin, vice-principal of Postgraduate studies, Mª Elena Olmos, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Rafael Verdera, Director of the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and of the Chair for Civil Law.

By J&A Garrigues SLP, the event was attended by José Vicente Gil Estruch, director of Administration and Apoderado legal representative; Sonsoles Frontera, responsible for human resources and José Luis Martínez Navarrete, managing partner.
