Today, Enrique Urbizu presents his film ‘No habrá paz para los malvados’ at Facultat de Filologia, Traducció i Comunicació at 10:00. Urbizu is also participating in a debate where the different aspects of the film production and his professional career are being discussed.
No habrá paz para los malvados (No rest for the wicked) was the big winner of the night at the Goyas celebrated last February 19th. The police’s story played by José Coronado convinced the panel of judges of the film academy and they awarded the film 6 prizes, being best film and best director prizes among them. These have brought more recognition to Urbizu as one of the most important film directors in Spain. Among his films are Todo por la pasta (1991), La caja 507 (2002) and La vida mancha (2003).
The event is taking place at 10:00 in the hall of Facultat de Filologia, Traducció i Comunicació. Entrance is free. At the same time, the film is going to be shown, followed by the debate, which is going to be chaired by Jenaro Talens (UVEG), Santos Zunzunegui (Universidad del País Vasco) and Manuel de la Fuente (UVEG). This activity is organized by the Departament de Teoria dels Llenguatges i Ciències de la Comunicació and la Facultat de Filologia, Traducció i Comunicació.
