Today, September 25, Julieta Valero opens the programme of the Poetry Club in an event chaired by Jaime Siles. The event is taking place at 12:00 at the Sala de Juntas César Simón in Facultat de Filologia, Traducció i Comunicació.
Julieta Valero (Madrid, 1971) has a degree in hispanic studies from Universidad Complutense. She has published many short stories, poems, and articles in many literary journals. She has took part of many poetic works: Inéditos, 11 poetas (2002), Todo es poesía menos la poesía. 22 poetas desde Madrid (2004), 11-M. Poemas contra el olvido (2004), Poesía pasión (2005), Palabras sobre palabra: 13 poetas españoles jóvenes (Chile, 2009), and Fuga de la nada. 16 propuestas poéticas (2009), among others. She’s the writer of Altar de los días parados (Madrid, Bartleby, 2003) and Los Heridos Graves (Barcelona, DVD Ediciones, 2005, IV Premio de Poesía Joven de RNE-R3). Some of her poems have been translated.
