The interested people in carrying out an Erasmus Studies or International Programme mobility stay in a foreign university during the academic year 2016/17 have to meet the linguistic requirements entailed, which should be accredited with the pertinent application. In relation to the language preparation, the established calendar starts today, 24th August, with the B2 tests of German, English, and French.

According to the International Relations Service of Universitat de València, in relation to the Erasmus Studies 2016/17 programme, the languages calendar is as follows: from 24th August to 18th September will be the registration period for the language B2 specific tests of German, English, and French set up to obtain Erasmus destinations that require a B2 level; and from 16th November to 3rd December will be the registration period to the B1 general tests on German, English, French, and Italian together with a participation request in the Erasmus Studies programme, to obtain Erasmus destinations that require a B1 level.

In the “Student Services Portal” the offer of temporary destinations and the linguistic requirements that the different universities ask for (accepted certifications and required level) is available. You have to select “Programas de intercambio con otras universidades” (“Interchange programmes with other universities”), and “Consulta de Programas de intercambio” (“Interchange Programmes consultation”).

You may consult in this link the linguistic equivalency table for the students that already have an accreditation: http://ir.uv.es/SGX5cvA

On the other hand, in relation to the International Programme 2016/17, in that same portal, the “Student Services Portal”, the offer of temporary destinations and the linguistic requirements that the different universities ask for (accepted certifications and required level) is available. You have to select, also, “Programas de intercambio con otras universidades”, and “Consulta de Programas de intercambio”.

In the case of the English accreditation, the certificates that universities usually ask for are the TOEFL and the IELTS. Therefore, for people interested in Anglophone destinations it is important that they organise in advance the enrolment to the pertinent exams to be able to present the accreditation timely (30th December 2015 to present the already mentioned certificates, as long as the exam had been carried out, at the latest, the day 3rd December, the last day of the end of the presentation period for the applications of the International Programme).

The accreditation for French is only necessary in the case of the Université de Montréal (Canada), which requests a B2 level.
