
The Universitat de València, through the International Relations and Cooperation Service, has participated from 15th to 18th September at the annual conference of the EAIE (European Association for International Education). Glasgow has been this year the venue of the conference, which had its 26th edition this year.
It is the conference on higher education more important that takes place in Europe, in which take part more than 5.000 participants from over 90 countries of universities from the whole world. In this edition it has been developed 21 workshops and 152 sessions and there were over 300 stands.
At the conference were established new relations with higher education institutions from the whole world. It also took place meetings with universities that are partners of the Universitat de València in the fields of mobility, research, and the international networks. This year has been the first one in which the Universitat de València took part of the Utrecht Network, one of the most prestigious international networks of the European Union.
On the occasion of the celebration of the conference in Glasgow, the Universitat has been introduced as a new partner at the work meeting that took place at the Utrecht Network. The Universitat de València has reinforced the participation of the institution in the international fairs of the last years. Both the Office of the Vice-Principal for International Relations and Cooperation and the International Relations Service aim to increase the visibility of the institution in the international field. For this reason, they have actively participated both in the European conference of the EIAE and in the American conference –NAFSA - Association of International Educators– that takes place every year in United States.
