
The debates at the Claustre Obert begin again. The Vice-Principal for Culture and Equality at the Universitat de València, Antonio Ariño, and the general director of Contents in Iberian Press in Valencia, Cruz Sierra, have agreed on the reopening of Claustre Obert, a cycle of debates organised together by the Universitat de València and the newspaper Levante-EMV, which replaces the newspaper ‘El País’.
The first event of this cycle will consist of a round table that will debate about ‘Los efectos de la robotización industrial sobre el empleo’ (The effects of industrial robotization on employment) and it will take place tomorrow Tuesday 7 June at the Cultural Centre La Nau of the Universitat de València, at 18:30 hours.
The round table will be formed by Lucía Egea, director of the University Centre EDEM; Andrés García Reche, executive vice-president of the Valencian Council of Innovation; José Vicente González, industrial entrepreneur and president of the autonomic management Cierval; and Gregorio Martín, retired professor of the Universitat de València and full university professor in Computing Science and Artificial Intelligence. Sergi Pitarch, chief of Economics of Levante-EMV will be the moderator of the table, while the act will be presented by the Principal of the Universitat, Esteban Morcillo, and the director of the newspaper, Julio Monreal.
The act will be broadcasted live on the web: http://mediauni.uv.es/VCultura and it will be available for consultation at the audiovisual archive of Canal Cultura of Mediauni (mediauni.uv.es/tv).
The celebration of the second debate of Claustre Obert is planned for 29 June, at the Assembly hall of the Club Mercantil Diario Levante. Political analysts and specialists will exchange opinions about the electoral results of 26-J.
