
Judit Catalá Verdeguer, a 4-year student of the Degree in Nursing of the Faculty of Nursing of the UV, has won the Class Notes National Competition which was organized by SASTE (Nursing’s Union). Her work focused on Nursing Research. All over Spain students of the Degree in Nursing or Physiotherapy can take part in the competition.
Judit Catalá research tackles the historic evolution of scientific knowledge, the current context and object of science, scientific methodology, scientific paradigms which do exist in Health Sciences, bioethics in research and an introduction to the use of statistic programmes such as SPSSÒ.
Youngsters studying a degree in Nursing or physiotherapy in public and private Spanish universities have taken part in the competition.
The jury has primarily valued in the awarded research “clarity, capacity for synthesis, creativity and the author’s writing style.
