The UV has been awarded with the prize to the best Good Practice of the criterion “Procesos, Productos y Servicios” (Processes, Products and Services) by the setting up and development of the OPAL (People's Labour Insertion Observatory and Job Counselling), service inscribed in the General Founding of the UV. The prize has been given by the Chair UNESCO of University Management-headquarters of “Telescopi España” of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia
This award take place in the framework of the second edition of the awards to the best Good Practices of Management of the Spanish Universities, which will be held on a conference about strategic innovation of the upper education institutions (http://www.cudu.upc.edu/) next 5 May, in the Vertex building of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
“Telescopi España” will award to the “Best Practices” selected between the period 2010 and 2013, which presented the best scoring in all the Excellence Criteria that the prize requires: leadership, strategy, people, alliances and resources, processes, products and services, clients and social responsibility.
According to these criteria, apart from the UV, awarded in the Criteria “Processes, Products and Services” for the Best Practice “Setting up and development of the service: OPAL (People's Labour Insertion Observatory and Job Counselling), of the UV, has been awarded the university from Alcala (Leadership Criterion) for the Best Practice “Transparency Portal”, from Jaen (Strategy Criterion) for the Best practice “Implantation of the integrated System of Quality Management of the Services and Administrative Unities”; from Catalonia (Criterion People) for the Good Practice ”Management of the Personal Contribution” (Alliances and Resources Criterion): Polytechnic of Catalonia (Alliances and Resources Criterion) for the Good Practice “Genweb”: UPC Webs Generator”; from Cadiz (Customs Criterion) for the Good Practice “Costumer's care centre-UCA”; and the European University from Madrid (Social Responsibility Criterion) for the Good Practice “Healthy Campus”.
Moreover, Telescopi España awards the best Good Practice of the edition for having obtained the highest scoring among them all, which, this time, has been the University Rovira i Virgili for the Good Practice “Improvement plan in the University Management”.
