
The Vice-Principal for External Internships and Lifelong Learning, Ramón López, will open today Friday, 13 May, the conference cycle about MOOC organizational models and experiences (massive open online course) organised by the Vives Network, which will take place at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Ramón López will analyse the MOOC politics of the Universitat de València and will participate in a round table which will be formed by responsible in this king of training.
The session, located in the Boardroom of the Office of the Principal of the Universitat Politècnica involved in Vives Forum, pretends giving an update view of the phenomenon of massive online and open courses (MOOC) to the world, by the experiences of some universities of the network in the main platforms, as well as the organizational politics which are needed to affront successfully a project with these features. The opening act, at 9:00, will conduct by the president of the Vives Network of Universities and the principal of the Universitat Politècnica de València, Francisco José Mora, and the first vice-president of the Network, Francesc Xavier Grau. Later (at 9:15 ), will interneve Ramón López, Vice-Principal for Training Policies and Educational Quality, with the speech ‘MOOC politics at the Universitat de València’. The creation of mini-MOOC, the impact of multidisciplinary teams which participate in the MOOC organization, the integration of open online courses in high education and various MOOC experiences will complete the contents of the next speeches until the round table (at 11:40) between the attendants to the session and the speakers. Conducted by the vice-principal for Information Technologies and Communications of the Universitat Politècnica de València, Vicent Botti, the table will have the participation of the vice-principal of the Universitat de València Ramón López; Joaquim Campuzano, from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona; Vanessa Soria, from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra; and Robert Escolano, from the Universitat d’Alacant. |
