Academic, scientific or professional interest: Biomedical research is a basic element to increase social and economic welfare, sustainability and to improve life quality of citizenship, as it allows to obtain new knowledge and apply it for an improvement of prevention and diagnosis of diseases; a major safety in the appliance of drugs and therapies and an improvement in the use of health resources. A better position in the area of health research only could be determined by the possibility of offering biomedical research lines in pharmaceutical technologies and in technologies and high quality health, global, multidisciplinary and integrated sciences, with the collaboration of researchers and clinical, public health, occupational health, environmental health basic teams, close to the clinical realities, addressed to solve problems.
