Academic, scientific or professional interest: This master's aims to improving the training of the Optician-Optometrist, in order to give a correct primary care in the area of visual health care, acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills to develop their competences not only in the optometry office but also in public health offices or ophthalmology clinics. Moreover, this master's degree will also favour the training or researchers and future teachers in the field of the Vision Sciences. To achieve the multidisciplinary education, we use the combined and integrated approach of the biological, physic, and clinic aspects related with the study of the vision phenomenon. These studies will guide the training of researchers both in the biomedical aspects of the Vision Sciences and in the basic aspects from a multidisciplinary, applied and of high quality perspective.
