Academic, scientific or professional interest: The expressions with which people usually refer today’s society: Information society, communication society, network society, digital society, etc., allude to, without any doubt, the importance that communication, specifically audiovisual and multimedia communication, has in our society. The area of communication in general and the area of audio-visual communication in particular are one of the most dynamic areas of today’s society both at a global level as well as at a national and autonomous level. Conversely, this area has, for quite a long time, great economic, social and cultural relevance that means a great deal of investment, very sophisticated technological infrastructures, produces a high and diversified production which use is the one that have increased more in the open market. For this reason, this area is, without doubt, a major source for jobs and, at the same time, needs more specialised professionals. The appeal of this Master’s lies in its profile guided to the world of audiovisual production and provision, with the main objective of developing and designing audiovisual projects for a new place in the media. Additionally, the Master’s Degree is linked on a mandatory basis in its credits to the “Jornadas de Contenidos para la Televisión Digital” (Lecture of Contents for Digital Television).
