Work placements and Master’s Degree Final Project
The Work placements and Master’s Degree Final Project modules of the three academic optional pathways are developed during the 2nd year.
Work placements (9 ECTS) are developed between October-January. This involves a stay of 180 hours in the work placement destination plus additional work hours related to meetings with the tutor of the university, documentation work and development of a report.
The Master’s Degree Final Project (6 ECTS) doesn’t require face-to-face classes.
Part-time students
The students who wish to take the Master’s Degree in a part-time basis should enrol in a minimum of 24 ECTS per academic year.
Regardless to the academic pathway chosen, students should take compulsorily the Module 42473 (Planning and Research applied to special education 12 ECTS). This module in the only one which involves attending classes four days per week (from Monday to Thursday), during the first six weeks of the academic year.
After this period of six weeks students can attend it only two days, which depend on the module and group in that they are enroled.

-42475. Intervention in Cognitive Disabilities (13,5 ECTS)
-42474. Guidance and Intervention in learning and behaviour difficulties (13,5 ECTS)
Regarding to the OPTIONAL ACADEMIC PATHWAY SUBJECTS, one of the two modules that configure it can be chosen, implying attendance twice a week excepting if you are enroled in the module 42477 which requires attendance 4 days during one week.
Academic Pathway Hearing and Language
-42476 ICT, Language Acquisition and Musical Expression in Hearing and Language (9 ECTS).
-42477 Intervention in hearing impairment and language (12 ECTS).

-42478 ICT, Psychomotricity and Musical Expression and Visual Arts in Therapeutic Pedagogy (10 ECTS)
-42479 Attention to individual needs (10,5 ECTS)
- Attention to disability
-42480 ICT and Disability (10,5 ECTS)
-42481 Life Quality (10,5 ECTS)
