The exhibition goes over the main programmes and services of the foundation, which is devoted to bring the Universitat de València closer to its socioeconomic environment, during its 30 years of existence.
The Foundation ADEIT of the Universitat de València commemorates its 30th anniversary with an exhibition that gathers the main programmes and results. Since 1987, ADEIT works to bring the University closer to the business context and to the society by means of different training programmes, traineeships and grants.
Numerous people and companies that are part of the board of ADEIT were present in the inauguration of the exhibition. The Manager and the Principal of the Universitat de València, Mª Vicenta Mestre, expressed her gratitude to all the people who have been present all this years in ADEIT and have worked for the foundation. “I want to highlight the capacity of ADEIT to continue growing strong with innovative and successful programmes,” remarked Mestre.
The Regional Minister of Taxes and Economic Model of the Valencian Government, Vicent Soler, assisted the event on behalf of the President of the Valencian Government, Ximo Puig. He recognized the role of ADEIT not only to develop projects, but also to promote a culture of collaboration between the University and the business community. “I want to especially remember Antonio Rico and Ramón Lapiedra, who were the initial promoters that created ADEIT and overcame the original reluctance,” stated Soler.
The President of ADEIT, Juan Manuel Pérez Mira, expressed his gratitude to the support that the foundation has received in the last 30 years by the Universitat de València and the companies that are part of the Board. Equally, he pointed out the important role of the people who preceded him as directors of the foundation: Antonio Rico, Carlos Pascual, Manuel Broseta y Alfonso Maldonado.
During the last 30 years, 116,000 postgraduate students have gone through the facilities of ADEIT, 170,000 traineeships in 16,000 companies, 25,000 congressmen in 200 conferences, 1,700 grants for professional training traineeships, 7,500 people guided for employment and self-employment, more than 2,100 students and 400 professors of the programme MOTIVEM.
You can visit the exhibition in the ground floor of ADEIT until January.
