The Universitat de València and the Comissions Obreres del País Valencià (CCOO PV) trade union have signed an agreement that will provide a qualification opportunity for the staff members of the public administration.
The Principal of the Universitat de València, M. Vicenta Mestre, and the General Secretary of CCOO PV have signed a collaboration agreement to cooperate in the educational field.
The aim of the agreement is to implement joint training actions to update the knowledge of public administration staff. Accordingly, the Universitat de València will annually approve the training actions that will be offered throughout the academic year, taking into consideration the improvement of job performance and professional development of public administration staff.
The training actions will be offered on-site, in a hybrid format, online or in a combination of the three. At least 25% of each course will be taught by UV professors, researchers or administrative staff. CCOO PV has committed to allocating 10% of the approved training actions under this agreement for UV members.
This training agreement is very important for both institutions, as it will greatly benefit public administration workers’ rights. It will allow teaching courses of special interest in the areas of health, education and public administration, benefitting from the prestige of the Universitat de València.
