The Valencian Department of Education, Universities and Employment has awarded the project "Assessment of creativity in teaching".
Within the framework of the Programme for the Promotion of Scientific Research, Technological Development and Innovation in the Valencian Community, the project “Assessment of creativity in teaching” (CREATEACH2023) will explore the creativity and creative thinking of Valencian teachers, both active and in training, at the different levels of the Valencian education system (pre-school, primary, secondary and higher education), promoting instructional changes integrated in a “Creative Plan of the Centre” in line with the current educational law, LOMLOE, which specifies that “creativity will be worked on in all subjects” (2020: 1222874).
The project is directed by CDC members Joan Josep Solaz Portolés and Yolanda Echegoyen Sanz, with the participation of CDC members Antonio Martín Ezpeleta and Vicente Sanjosé López, together with creativity specialist Javier Corbalán Berná, from the University of Murcia.
