The Executive Council continues the discussions with the unions and other concerned parties to set the procedures and possible working dates of a technical labour commission within the negotiating table to deal with the situation of the adjunct teaching body.
This technical commission was suggested in a meeting at the Office of the Principal of the Universitat de València on Tuesday 27th of February. The meeting had been asked by a group of students who acceded to the Office of the Principal, where they spent the night. Early in the morning on Wednesday, they left the building without any serious incidents.
The Principal, Esteban Morcillo; the manager, Joan Oltra; the President of the negotiating table, Rafael Crespo, the Student delegate, Jordi Caparrós, the coordinator of the Student Council, Paula Sala; three people representing the student body assembled at the Office of the Principal and two spokesperson of the adjunct professors were present at the meeting. Carlos Alfonso, Professor in Labour Law, participated in the meeting as well. As an expert, he suggested the creation of the labour commission.
