The second session of the “Benvinguda a la Universitat” 2023 was celebrated this Thursday, 19 October, at the Els Tarongers campus. Students from the Faculties of Law, Economics, Social Sciences and Teacher Training enjoyed a relaxed morning during which they were informed of the initiatives that university services and student associations have prepared for the 2023 2024 academic year.

Offered proposals include: language courses, volunteering, sport activities, cultural activities, library services, complementary training, student counselling, support for people with disabilities or facing harassment and discrimination, La Llibreria and Erasmus+ and Forthem programmes, among others.

The garden zone between the Faculty of Law and the Ramon Llull street held the services’ and associations’ information booths, as well as a relax zone where the students had a refreshment and spent time with their peers, surrounded by Solstice Music’s ambient music.

The “Benvinguda a la Universitat” will continue on Tuesday, 24 October at Blasco Ibañez campus, in the outside facilities of the Physical Education and Sports Service (Menendez Pelayo Ave, 19). From 10:00 to 14:00, students will be able to obtain information on everything they need to know about the service’s and association’s proposals in the Universitat de València.

The “Benvinguda a la Universitat”, organized by the Student Council Branch through the SeDi Information and Promotion Service, is a meeting point for the university community and an opportunity to make contact with other students and integrate into university life.
