• E01: The ability to carry out the analysis of the structures, contents and styles of television and radio programmes as well as the different variables that influence their configuration and the communication and entertainment processes generated by them.
  • E02: Knowledge and applications of the different stages of audiovisual production and broadcasting techniques and processes, both in the cinema and in television, video and multimedia from the viewpoint of the mise-en-scène from the initial idea to the finished product. This will lead to the ability to create and direct the whole mise-en-scène of audiovisual cinematographic, videographic or televisual productions, directing actors and following the script, work plan or storyboard.
  • E03: Knowledge and applications of the different mechanisms and elements of scriptwriting in different formats, technologies and production supports. It also includes theoretical and practical knowledge of the analyses, sistematisation and codification of iconic contents and audiovisual information in different supports and technologies. The ability to create texts, script outlines or scripts fluidly in the fields of cinematographic, televisual, videographic, radiophonic or multimedia fiction.
  • E04: Knowledge and the ability to apply resources, elements, methods and procedures of the construction processes and analysis of the linear and non-linear audiovisual narratives, including the design, establishment and development of strategies, as well as the applications of persuasive communication policies in audiovisual markets.
  • E05: Knowledge of spatial imagery and iconic representations in space, both in still and moving images, as well as the elements involved in art direction. The ability to analyse and plan the relationships between images and sounds from an aesthetic and narrative viewpoint in the different audiovisual supports and technologies. The ability to apply image composition techniques and procedures to the different audiovisual supports, based on knowledge of the classical laws and aesthetic and cultural movements of the history of the image by means of the new communication technologies. It also includes knowledge of the psychological models specifically developed for visual communication and persuasion by means of the image.
  • E06: The ability to arrange technically the audio and visual materials to reflect an idea by using the narrative techniques and technologies necessary to create, compose, complete and master mix different audiovisual and multimedia products and to design and conceive the aesthetic and technical presentation of the mise-en-scène by means of natural or artificial sources of light and sound, taking into account the creative and expressive features proposed by the director of the audiovisual project.
  • E07: The ability to apply creation techniques and processes and technical or human resources necessary for the integral production design of an audiovisual work from scenographic elements and the brand image to the graphic marketing product.
  • E08: Creativity: the ability to take expressive and thematic risks involving availability and audiovisual timeframes, by applying personal solutions and viewpoints in the development of the projects.
  • E09: Knowledge of the different languages, codes and representation methods of the different technological and audiovisual media: photography, cinema, radio, television, video and electronic image, the Internet, etc. through their aesthetic and industrial proposals and their evolution over the years, which should generate a capacity to analyse audiovisual narratives and works, taking into account iconic messages such as the texts and products of the socio-political and cultural conditions of a given historic era.
  • E10: Knowledge of the different languages, codes and representation methods of the different technological and audiovisual media: photography, cinema, radio, television, video and electronic image, the Internet, etc. through their aesthetic and industrial proposals and their evolution over the years, which should generate a capacity to analyse audiovisual narratives and works, taking into account iconic messages such as the texts and products of the socio-political and cultural conditions of a given historic era.
  • E11: Students must be able to deepen their acquired knowledge and to develop and apply these skills in the various fields of audiovisual communication.
  • E12: Students must be capable of applying techniques and processes of creation and technical or human resources necessary for the design of the production of an audiovisual work from its stage elements and brand image until its graphic commercialisation project.
  • E13: Students must be able to search, select and organise any type of audiovisual document in a database, as well as their use in different audiovisual formats using digital methods.
  • E14: Students must be able to carry out an analysis of the structures, contents and styles of television and radio programming, as well as the different variables that influence their configuration and both the communicative and performance processes than they generate.
  • E15: Students must be able to apply production techniques and processes to the organisation of cultural events by planning the human and technical resources needed and adjusting to an existing budget.
  • E16: Students must be able to apply the principles and functions of visual identity to the creation of a manual of norms for the visual corporate identity of a given company.
  • E17: Students must be able to define research topics or innovative personal creation that could contribute to the knowledge or development of audiovisual languages and their interpretation. They must be able to adequately expose the results of their research either orally or through audiovisual and computerised means, according to the standards of the disciplines of communication.
  • E18: In terms of creativity, students must be able to take expressive and thematic risks within the framework of availability and in terms of audiovisual communication. They must be able to apply personal solutions and points of view in the development of projects.
  • E19: Students must be able to work well in a team, able to assume both subordinate roles and, where appropriate, the role of coordinator or director. They must be able to put into practice all the skills that they have acquired. They must know how to value their own proposals, but also to adapt to the demands of a group or a business.
  • E20: Students should have an understanding of the different languages, codes and modes of representation used in the different technological and audiovisual mediums such as photography, cinema, radio, television, electronic image and video, internet etc., through their own individual industries and aesthetics, as well as through the evolution of their social and cultural relevance through time. This should generate the ability to analyse stories and audiovisual works, considering the iconic messages of the texts as products of the social, political and cultural conditions in which they were produced.
  • E21: Students should be able to understand and apply the techniques and processes of audiovisual production and transmission in the different phases, from the conception of a project until its commercialisation. This knowledge will lead to the development of the ability to plan and manage human resources, budget and technological resources, including all the processes involved in the management of audiovisual companies in their various fields.
  • E22: Students should have a practical and theoretical understanding of the organisation structures within sound and visual communication, as well as its evolution and development over time, including audiovisual taxation. This also includes knowledge of, and research into, the interrelations between the natures of the subjects within audiovisual communication: authors, institutions, companies, the media, storage and recipients.
  • E23: Students should be able to understand and apply the techniques and processes of audiovisual creation and transmission in their different phases, in not only cinema but also television, video and other multimedia forms from the point of view of the staging, from the initial idea until the final product. This leads to the ability to create and direct the staging of cinematographic, video-graphic or televised audiovisual productions, taking responsibility for the direction of actors and adjusting to the script, work plan or existing budget.
  • E24: Students must be able to develop their own work, both in terms of creation and research, whilst putting into practice the skills that they have acquired. They must know how to take responsibility for their own projects (although this would be under the guidance of a tutor).
  • E25: Students must be able to deepen their acquired knowledge and to develop and apply these skills in the various fields of audiovisual communication.
  • E26: Students should be able to understand and apply the different mechanisms and elements of script making according to different formats, technologies and means of production. This also includes the theoretical and practical understanding of analysis, organisation and encryption of the iconic content and the audiovisual information within different technologies and foundations. Students should be capable of writing texts, programmes and scripts with fluency in the fields of cinematographic, video-graphic, radiophonic, televised, or multimedia fiction.
  • E27: Students should understand and be able to apply resources, elements, methods and procedures to build and analyse both linear and non-linear audiovisual narratives. This includes design, the establishment and development of strategies, and the application of the policies of persuasive communication within the audiovisual markets.
  • E28: Students should have both a theoretical and practical understanding of the scientific fundamentals of optics and the ability to process measurements in relation to the amount of light and chromatic quality during the construction of images, both in the professional field of photography and in the direction of photography for film and other video-graphic productions.
