Calender for implementation and phasing out
The updated curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences will take effect in the 2009-2010 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to an official 5-year degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of Valencia will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 5 December 2001. The undergraduate degree will be introduced in the following way: the 1st year in 2009-2010, phasing out the 1st year of the 5-year programme; in 2010-2011 the remaining years of the undergraduate degree will be introduced, phasing out the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of the 5-year degree programme; in 2011-2012 the 5th year will be phased out.
