Robbie is a young father from Glasgow who cannot escape from his criminal past. He crosses his path with Rhino, Albert and the young Mo, and like them, he avoids prison but he have to do community work. Henri, the teacher assigned to them, then becomes their new mentor and introduced them secretly to the art of brewing whisky. Among distilleries and tasting sessions, Robbie discovers he has a real talent as a taster, and soon he is able to identify the most exceptional and expensive distillates.
