"The year is 50 B.C.Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders. Exasperated by the situation, Julius Caesar decides to change his tactics: since his armies have been unable to impose themselves using force, Roman civilisation will be responsible for seducing the barbarian Gauls. In order to do so, he will order to construct a luxurious residence for Romans next to the Gallic helmet: 'The Land of Gods'. Will our Gallic friends be able to resist the temptation of money and Roman confort? Will the resort become a simple tourist attraction? Astérix and Obélix will have to make an effort to thwart the Caesar's plans.
