First film adaptation of Ernest Hemingway’s novel that covers the topic of the World War I (1914-1918). Before the US took part in the war, Frederik, an American journalist, enrols as a volunteer with the Italian paramedics to follow the events closely. After being wounded he is hospitalized and falls in love with Catherine, a british nurse.
All screenings will be in original version with subtitles with a presentation and a discussion
